Qualifications

  • 1-2 years of experience in Interventional Radiology or Cardiovascular Interventional Technology preferred.
  • Graduate of an AMA approved Diagnostic Radiology program, registry eligible.
  • Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
  • Current ARRT - American Registry Radiology Tech License.
  • Current NJ-RADTECH - NJ Radiology Tech License.

Responsibilities

  • Assist interventionalists in interventional radiology and vascular surgery procedures.
  • Manage supplies and instrumentation related to interventional procedures.
  • Follow infection prevention policies strictly.
  • Utilize appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE) during procedures.
  • Maintain skill set necessary for a range of procedures including oncology, vascular, and trauma.

Full Job Description
Short DescriptionAssists interventionalists in all procedures within the scope of interventional radiology and vascular surgery, but not limited to oncology, vascular and trauma. Skill set must be maintained to handle supplies/instrumentation associated with interventional procedures. Adheres to all infection prevention policies, utilizing the appropriate PPE needed.  Experience Required

1-2 year of Interventional Radiology or Cardiovascular Interventional Technology preferred

Education Requirements

Graduate of AMA approved program for Diagnostic Radiology and therefore registry eligible. 

NJ DEP license required upon hire

License/Certification Requirements

Current BLS.Current ARRT - American Registry Radiology Tech License.Current NJ-RADTECH - NJ Radiology Tech License
