Primary Responsibilities:

As an International Senior Tax Associate, you will be directly responsible for supporting all aspects of the tax lifecycle, including compliance, provision, planning, and controversy. Primary job responsibilities will include:

  • Seeking process improvement through efficiency or technology advancements in all areas of work
  • Assisting with UHG's quarterly international tax provision and effective tax rate projections, including coordination with non-US business lines
  • Preparing US international tax compliance and reporting forms (including Forms 5471, 8858, 8865, 1118, etc)
  • Preparing responses to information requests from tax auditors
  • Assisting with tracking of tax attributes, including outside basis and E&P pools
  • Supporting planning initiatives and special projects on an as-needed basis
  • Partnering with income tax teams beyond international to support other tax compliance and planning projects as needed

Required Qualifications:

  • Openness to leveraging new technology to support process improvement, including automation and optimizing manual workflows


Preferred Qualifications:

  • CPA and/or MST


Pay is based on several factors including but not limited to local labor markets, education, work experience, certifications, etc. In addition to your salary, we offer benefits such as, a comprehensive benefits package, incentive and recognition programs, equity stock purchase and 401k contribution (all benefits are subject to eligibility requirements). The salary for this role will range from $60,200 - $107,400 annually based on full-time employment. We comply with all minimum wage laws as applicable.
