What you will enjoy doing*- You serve as the key interface between Materials Management, Procurement, Customer Service, Production Plants, and Logistics to coordinate exports, equipment refills, and complex overseas deliveries
- Coordinate timely delivery of imported raw materials critical to production and revenue goals, developing global freight forwarder networks for efficient transitions
- Facilitate communication between freight forwarders, vendors, and internal stakeholders, providing delivery updates and schedule changes on critical shipments
- You will be expected to collaborate with Business Development and Procurement to drive operational excellence, reduce costs, and mitigate risks in customs brokerage and logistics services
- Manage import and export transport execution with freight forwarders, customs brokers, and carriers, ensuring compliance with regulations and company guidelines
- You will make informed decisions on delivery prioritization, consolidations, transportation modes, and route changes to ensure on-time delivery
- Maintain export and import tracking systems, prepare logistics cost reports, audit invoices, and manage billing and payment processes
- Leverage company-wide resources to coordinate orders across multiple production plants and maintain comprehensive knowledge of product compatibility and ocean carrier operations
What makes you great - You hold a bachelor's degree with at least 10 years of experience in international logistics, preferably handling hazardous materials
- Strong organizational and analytical skills with the ability to multitask and independently set priorities in a fast-paced environment
- You are direct working knowledge of export/import procedures, requirements, and multi-modal dangerous goods certification preferred
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel (including macros, VLOOKUP, XLOOKUP) and SAP systems
- Excellent communication skills to effectively collaborate across multiple departments and logistics providers
- You have the ability to make independent decisions that maximize shipment profitability and operational efficiency
- Strong attention to detail with experience in auditing invoices, managing logistics cost reports, and negotiating freight quotes

Pay Range: $90,000 - $132,000
