Your Impact- Deliver water and wastewater treatment projects that support industrial, mining, and municipal clients across Western Canada.
- Lead or support project management activities, ensuring projects are delivered on time, on budget, and to quality standards.
- Develop strong working relationships with clients, vendors, subcontractors, and multidisciplinary WSP teams.
- Prepare high-quality technical reports, specifications, process schematics, and layout drawings.
- Perform process analysis and design including technology selection, equipment sizing, hydraulic analysis, mass balances, modeling, and 3D layouts.
- Review and enhance technical work completed by junior engineers, ensuring accuracy and consistency.
- Mentor and support junior colleagues through hands-on training and knowledge sharing.
- Balance multiple projects simultaneously while adapting to evolving schedules and priorities.
The Skills That Set You Apart- Undergraduate degree in Chemical Engineering with registration as a P.Eng. in Canada.
- 5-10 years of relevant experience in water and wastewater treatment projects.
- Proven experience in process modeling, technology selection, and equipment specification.
- Working knowledge of HYSYS/HYSIM, OLI, or METSIM (considered an asset).
- Strong technical writing, verbal communication, and stakeholder coordination skills.
- Experience with project management, proposal development, and engineering cost estimates.
- Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively within multidisciplinary teams.
- Field, construction, and commissioning experience considered an asset; valid driver's license required.
CompensationCompensation:AB, BC, NT, NU, SK & YT: $114,600 - $151,800
MB & ON: $104,500 - $143,900
NB, NL, NS, PE & QC: $103,500 - $137,400
