Job DescriptionThe Lifting and Handling Electrical Engineer will gain practical and theoretical electrical engineering experience while performing maintenance and upkeep on heavy operating equipment in a nuclear environment. This role supports the safe operation, troubleshooting, and improvement of lifting and handling systems used in the nuclear refueling mission for Naval Reactors. The engineer will work in a multidisciplined engineering environment, collaborating closely with mechanical, structural, operations, and maintenance personnel to ensure equipment reliability and compliance with applicable codes and standards.
Responsibilities typically include: supporting design changes, maintenance planning, field walkdowns, and issue resolution for electrically powered lifting and handling equipment
Required Combination of Knowledge and SkillBachelors degree from an accredited college or university in a related technical, engineering or science field and a minimum of 2 years of relevant experience; or Masters degree from an accredited college or university in a related technical, engineering or science field and a minimum of 1 year of relevant experience; or Currently an Intermediate Reactor Training Engineer, Refueling Engineer, or Field (RPCO) Engineer at the Company.

Pay Range$78,700.00 - $120,500.00 annually
Salary information provided is a general guideline only. Annual salary is based upon candidate experience and qualifications, as well as market and business considerations.
