Join a collaborative team delivering some of the region's most complex and impactful healthcare projects, from acute care hospitals and ambulatory care centres to specialized treatment facilities and medical research environments. This role offers the opportunity to contribute to high-performance electrical systems that improve patient care, support clinical excellence, and create safer, more resilient communities.
Your Impact
  • Lead the design and delivery of electrical building systems for healthcare facilities of varying size and complexity.
  • Develop innovative power distribution, lighting, emergency power, grounding, and life-safety solutions that support patient-centred environments.
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary project teams to deliver integrated and coordinated healthcare facility designs.
  • Support project planning, technical reviews, quality management, and successful project outcomes from concept through construction.
  • Mentor and support junior engineers and designers while contributing to a culture of technical excellence.
  • Engage directly with clients, healthcare stakeholders, and project partners to understand needs and deliver value-driven solutions.
  • Contribute to the advancement of sustainable, resilient, and future-ready healthcare infrastructure.
  • Support business development initiatives through technical expertise, proposal contributions, and relationship building.
The Skills That Set You Apart
  • Degree in Electrical Engineering from an accredited university program.
  • Professional Engineer (P.Eng.) or EIT designation or eligibility for registration with Engineers and Geoscientists BC.
  • Demonstrated experience delivering electrical engineering solutions for healthcare building projects, including hospitals, clinics, and specialized healthcare environments.
  • Strong knowledge of Canadian Electrical Code requirements, healthcare standards, and industry best practices.
  • Experience designing normal and emergency power systems, lighting systems, fire alarm systems, and related building electrical infrastructure.
  • Proficiency with industry-standard design and analysis software used in building systems engineering.
  • Strong technical communication, project delivery, and client relationship management skills.
Compensation

Compensation:
AB, BC, NT, NU, SK & YT: $80,100 to $107,700
MB & ON: $73,100 to $102,100
NB, NL, NS, PE & QC: $72,400 to $97,500
