Under the direction of the Radiologist, and VP of Ancillary Services, Responsible for managing the delivery of Diagnostic Imaging Services, coordinating department operations in accordance with the policies and procedures of the Department reporting to the Director of Imaging Services. Manager will also work closely with the PACS Administrator, Samaritan Imaging Center and other supervisorial and professional staff to insure appropriate workflow, adherence to Department information systems utilization and patient safety and security. Further, responsible for maintaining quality assurance, appropriate utilization of technology and that staff are appropriately trained, observed and monitored and evaluated in a timely and proficient manner. Provide input for operational planning. Oversees patient care in Imaging, ensuring quality, safety, and regulatory compliance for all patient populations served by the organization. Participates in quality control (QC), quality assurance (QA), performance improvement, and regulatory readiness activities. Maintains knowledge of downtime procedures and collaborates with staff and other departments to ensure continuity of operations and patient care during system or equipment outages. Promotes staff development through education, coaching, and the consistent application of departmental policies, procedures, and best practices. Supports a culture of teamwork, accountability, patient-centered care, and operational excellence.
