Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited nursing program with current RN licensure.
• Minimum of five years clinical experience, including two years in nursing supervision in long-term care.
• Experience in managing transitional leadership within nursing facilities is preferred.
• Strong understanding of nursing center policies and regulations.
• Proven ability to develop and control departmental budgets.

Responsibilities

• Lead and coordinate service activities of nursing staff to enhance patient care.
• Partner with the Nursing Home Administrator to manage the nursing department's budget.
• Conduct daily rounds to assess patient needs and nursing service effectiveness.
• Review nursing documentation for quality and compliance to care plans.
• Interpret policies to nursing staff, ensuring adherence and quality improvement.
• Organize in-service training for nursing personnel to promote professional development.
