Full Job Description
Blu Omega is seeking an organized, strategic, and communicative Intergovernmental Affairs Specialist to identify and build key partnerships across the U.S. Government (USG) ecosystem. This role is essential to aligning programs with federal initiatives and uncovering opportunities for collaboration and support.

Responsibilities:
  • Research, identify, track USG funded programs and conduct cross walk with programs and program manager concepts to identify agency outreach targets
  • Identify key programs in relation to client programs/mission, and leadership points of contact within each of the agencies/programs
  • Build and maintain relationships with USG points of contact
  • Capture data into Intergovernmental tracking system
  • Create and maintain a dashboard of interagency engagements and programs
  • Draft reports on engagement or on potential opportunities as required
  • Create presentations tailored to agency/divisions, support outreach and scheduling with agency contacts as required

Requirements:
  • 2-4 years experience with identifying government funding or grants opportunities
  • 2-4 years working with or in the federal government and/or engagement with the executive branch
  • 2-4 years experience in outreach and engagement with government and/or corporate SMEs, leadership
  • Experience with contracts research, management tracking tools
  • Must be detailed, diplomatic, with excellent communication, research, and writing skills, and flexible to juggle various projects at once
  • Advanced skills in PowerPoint, Excel, etc., and other related presentation and tracking software tools

Salary Range: $130K - $140K
Our final salary offer will be based on several factors, including depth of technical skills, work experience, education, certifications, and clearance
