Full Job Description
SLB is seeking a highly qualified and motivated Interface Manager to manage all interfaces between contractors, disciplines, and SLB functions and ensure coordinated, conflict-free execution across the site. The Interface Manager maintains continuous oversight of design, construction, and logistical interfaces, proactively identifying and resolving issues that could affect schedule, safety, or quality. Acting as a central coordination point, this role ensures seamless communication, alignment, and accountability among all site stakeholders, enabling efficient progress across all work fronts. This position requires presence in the construction sites; candidates are to be open to domestic relocation based on project schedules & locations. Qualified candidates anywhere in Canada will be considered. Relocation assistance is available. Roles and Responsibilities: • Establish and maintain the site interface management plan, register, and coordination procedures. • Identify all physical, operational, and schedule interfaces between contractors and SLB disciplines. • Lead daily and weekly coordination meetings with contractors to review interface points and resolve issues. • Monitor and track interface actions, ensuring timely closure and proper documentation. • Coordinate with engineering and construction teams to address design-related or field-level conflicts. • Facilitate alignment between construction, logistics, and commissioning teams to support smooth work transitions. • Maintain open communication with the client and key contractors to ensure proactive management of shared work areas and dependencies. • Report interface risks, trends, and mitigation measures to the Site Manager and Project Controls. Qualifications And Experience: • Bachelor's degree in engineering or construction management or related field. Equivalent site-based construction experience within Interface management roles will be considered. • 15+ years of construction coordination / interface management experience on large scale industrial or infrastructure projects is required • Experience with 4D scheduling, BIM coordination tools and clash detection tools is required. • Proven ability to manage complex site interactions between multiple general contractors and subcontractors • Strong understanding of construction sequencing, access planning, and multi-discipline integration • Demonstrated track record in proactive issue resolution and stakeholder coordination • Prior experience supporting Data Center or mission-critical facility construction is highly preferred • Excellent communication skills both written and verbal. • Training or Certification in Construction Coordination or Interface Management is preferred. • Candidates must be able to legally work and reside in Canada, without sponsorship. #LI-BB1
