Full Job Description
SLB is seeking a highly qualified and motivated Site Quality Manager to lead all quality assurance and control activities on the project site to ensure construction is executed in full compliance with SLB and client specifications, drawings, and procedures. The Site Quality Manager leads the site quality team, oversees contractor quality performance, and ensures inspection and testing activities are properly planned, executed, and documented. Acting as the client's primary counterpart for all quality matters, this role safeguards the integrity of the project through disciplined verification, proactive issue resolution, and continuous improvement in workmanship and process control. This position requires presence in the construction sites; candidates are to be open to domestic relocation based on project schedules & locations. Qualified candidates anywhere in Canada will be considered. Relocation assistance is available. Roles and Responsibilities: - Implement and manage the project quality plan, inspection test plans (ITPs), and associated procedures. - Coordinate daily quality inspections, surveillance activities, and audits across all contractors and disciplines. - Review and approve contractor quality documentation including procedures, ITPs, and inspection reports. - Monitor site construction activities to verify compliance with design, standards, and workmanship requirements. - Manage nonconformance control, ensuring timely investigation, corrective actions, and closure - Conduct internal and joint audits with client representatives to ensure continual compliance and improvement. - Lead and mentor the site quality team to maintain a culture of accountability, precision, and continuous improvement. Qualifications And Experience: - Bachelor's degree in engineering or quality management. Equivalent field-based quality management experience may be considered. - 15-20 years of experience managing quality on large-scale industrial or infrastructure projects. - Strong knowledge of QA/QC principles, codes, and inspection standards relevant to civil, mechanical, and electrical works. - Proven experience leading multi-discipline quality teams in active construction environments. - Demonstrated ability to interface effectively with clients and multiple contractors on complex projects. - Experience with Data Center or mission-critical facility projects is highly preferred. - Excellent communication skills both written and verbal. - ISO 9001:2015 Lead Auditor certification or equivalent quality management credential is preferred. - Certification in NDT, welding inspection, or discipline-specific quality programs is preferred. - Candidates must be able to legally work and reside in Canada, without sponsorship. #LI-BB1
