Summary

You will serve as a GG-0132-15 Intelligence Specialist within the DEPUTY UNDER SECRETARY OF THE NAVY for Intelligence and Security (DUSN I&S), Intelligence Directorate. As a senior Program Manager, you will be responsible for directing complex and highly sensitive intelligence programs. This position is located at the Pentagon in Arlington, VA.

Duties

Help

• You will direct complex and highly sensitive intelligence programs on behalf of the Secretary of the Navy, Under Secretary of the Navy, and the Deputy Under Secretary of the Navy for Intelligence and Security.
• You will develop, implement, and manage a comprehensive strategic framework for oversight of intelligence across the Department of the Navy.
• You will exercise broadly delegated authority to direct the strategic planning, resource allocation, and full lifecycle execution of a complex portfolio of national-level intelligence programs.
• You will direct matrixed, multi-disciplinary teams of senior personnel and manage a portfolio of resources, overseeing the allocation of funding and personnel to achieve strategic objectives and mitigate risk across the Naval Intelligence Enterprise.
• You will serve as a plenipotentiary representative for the Department of the Navy, empowered to negotiate and secure binding agreements with senior executives in the Intelligence Community, other military services, and allied foreign governments.
• You will serve as a principal advisor, charged with identifying, assessing, and directing the resolution of critical intelligence issues.
• You will direct the formulation and execution of in-depth analyses and evaluations of the nation's most sensitive intelligence programs and capabilities.
• You will produce authoritative assessments, executive briefings, and decision memoranda that directly shape the operational and strategic calculus of the Department of the Navy and its senior leaders regarding foreign capabilities and intentions.

• Males born after 12-31-59 must be registered for Selective Service.
• This position requires a periodic polygraph examination.
• This position may require a 2-year DCIPS trial period.

Qualifications

Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the next lower grade level (GG/GS-14) or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector, such as:

1. Use myriad databases throughout the Intelligence and Law Enforcement communities for the processing of all-source material.
2. Provide comprehensive advice on collection, interpretation, analysis, evaluation, and dissemination of intelligence information and products.
3. Play comprehensive role in the execution/overseeing of a Military Intelligence Program.
