A respected legal team is seeking an IP Associate with 2 to 5 years of experience in patent and trademark prosecution, IP transactions, and related matters. This is a hands-on role for a skilled attorney looking to work on complex, high-level IP work across various industries.
Key Responsibilities - Manage daily IP prosecution dockets and USPTO filings
- Draft responses to office actions and client correspondence
- Conduct clearance searches and prepare legal opinions
- Negotiate and draft IP-related agreements, including software licenses
- Support IP due diligence and documentation in M&A transactions
- Collaborate with internal teams and communicate directly with clients
Preferred Qualifications - 2-5 years of experience in patent/trademark prosecution and IP transactions
- USPTO registration or patent bar eligibility preferred
- Strong academic record and excellent writing skills
- Experience with software agreements and transactional IP work
- Admission to the Florida Bar (required)
Compensation and Benefits - Salary range of $150,000 - $170,000
