What You’ll Be Doing

As an Integration Regional Service Manager (RSM), you’ll play a critical leadership role in bringing newly acquired locations into the Nextech organization. Working closely with Operations and the Integration team, you’ll provide hands-on leadership, training, and operational guidance that helps new RSMs and Dispatchers succeed while protecting the high level of service our customers expect.

  • Travel to newly acquired locations to train RSMs and oversee Dispatcher onboarding and training on Nextech processes, policies, systems, and procedures.
  • Develop, coordinate, and execute training plans, ensuring key objectives are achieved within established timelines.
  • Partner with the Integration team to build effective onboarding plans for newly acquired locations.
  • Provide daily and/or weekly progress updates on training, operational readiness, and team acclimation.
  • Coach local management on hiring, training, employee development, performance management, and discipline when needed.
  • Guide new RSMs in achieving office goals, operational metrics, customer expectations, and company SLA requirements.
  • Train RSMs to effectively manage Dispatchers, customer relationships, call scheduling, labor and material costs, reporting, and overall financial performance.
  • Teach new RSMs how to evaluate employee performance and conduct annual reviews with Operations Manager approval.
  • Support ASMs and help RSMs develop strong, capable HVAC/R technicians.
  • Maintain customer satisfaction and communicate customer needs across Operations, Integration, Dispatch, and field leadership.
  • Step into vacant RSM positions when needed, providing hands-on operational leadership and continuity.
  • Provide on-site support to assigned regional offices when not actively supporting an acquisition.
  • Manage acquisition-related projects with urgency, organization, attention to detail, and a focus on timely completion.
  • Represent Nextech professionally while reinforcing a culture of safety, integrity, expertise, customer-first service, and accountability.

We’re looking for an experienced HVAC/R operations leader who knows how to turn knowledge into action. The right candidate brings technical credibility, strong business judgment, exceptional communication skills, and the ability to lead confidently through change.

    • Minimum of 5 years of field technical experience and/or a proven track record of relevant experience.
    • Previous Regional Service Manager experience strongly preferred.
    • Strong HVAC/R technical knowledge with the ability to provide meaningful value to technicians and customers.
    • Demonstrated management, coaching, and conflict-resolution experience.
    • Experience recruiting, hiring, onboarding, and developing Dispatchers.
    • Excellent written and verbal communication and interpersonal skills.
    • Strong customer-service skills with both internal and external customers.
    • Ability to build rapport and establish credibility quickly with employees, leaders, and customers.
    • High sense of urgency with the ability to solve problems and remain level-headed under pressure.

Physical Requirements
  • Willing and able to travel up to 50% or as business needs require, including travel to newly acquired Nextech locations.
  • Willing and able to work from assigned office location(s).
  • Able to operate computers and standard office equipment, including printers, copiers, and telephones.
  • Able to work at a computer for up to eight hours and alternate between sitting and standing throughout the workday.
  • Able to lift and carry up to 15 pounds.
  • Regularly requires vision, hearing, talking, and twisting.
  • Occasionally requires walking, reaching, lifting, carrying, kneeling, pushing/pulling, bending, and crouching.
  • Rarely requires climbing.
  • May be required to use a personal smartphone with a camera capable of scanning a QR code for two-factor authentication.
