Full Job Description
Role summary

Provides dedicated hands-on test execution for V6 validation inside SI&T, and creatively injects faults to surface failure modes that scripted P0 and automated/HIL suites miss. Runs high-volume test execution, stages benches, and captures high-fidelity data so engineers can focus on test design and development. May retain a facility-support component at Eccles depending on staffing.
Key responsibilities
  • Execute hardware test plans from SI&T engineers across feasibility, various HW build phases, plus end-to-end system stress tests.
  • Creatively inject faults into robot SW/HW to surface edge cases and failure modes beyond automated coverage.
  • Diagnose robot and equipment failures at the component level using multimeters and oscilloscopes.
  • Maintain meticulous data logging in Google Sheets and internal databases so engineering teams have accurate results for design iteration.
  • Use and modify Python scripts to automate test sequences; support EOL and HIL test development; translate schematics into test setups.
Qualifications
  • Associate/technical degree or equivalent hands-on experience with electro-mechanical or robotic systems.

Compensation

The pay range for this position at the start of employment is expected to be between $45/hour to $58/hour. Your exact offer may vary depending on multiple individualized factors, including job-related knowledge, skills, and experience.
