We're looking for an Integration Project Manager to join our team! You'll own coordination, planning, and execution of a structured, multi-phase integration already underway, a focused, high-impact role for someone who can step into a moving process, get oriented fast, and drive execution with precision. If you bring disciplined project management and genuine change management depth, we want to hear from you.
What you'll doYou'll inherit an early-stage merger integration and carry it forward, bridging what's already been scoped with the detailed execution plans needed to see it through. You'll serve as the operational backbone of the effort, keeping workstreams on track, enabling executives to stay at the right altitude, and ensuring both sides of the transaction experience the integration as thoughtful, organized, and human.
Key areas you'll add value - Orient quickly to the existing plan, workstream owners, and stakeholders, and drive pre-close milestones to completion alongside our Chief of Staff, who leads this effort.
- Build detailed 2026 execution plans across all workstreams and maintain them as a living document, with clear ownership, tracked milestones, and updates as priorities and complexity shift.
- Track status across workstreams and facilitate workgroup meetings, proactively surfacing risks and blockers, driving decisions, and documenting outcomes to keep stakeholders aligned and accountable.
- Build and execute a change management strategy across both organizations.
- Deliver crisp, executive-ready updates and materials for steering committee and leadership reviews, reducing burden on leadership rather than adding to it.
- Operate at both altitudes, setting direction at the program level while rolling up your sleeves to execute directly when a task needs it.
- Partner with leadership team members to shape the 2027 roadmap, spotting gaps in readiness and coordination as the integration matures.
What you'll bring - PMP certification or equivalent project management credential.
- 3+ years of project management experience, including multiple (2+) end-to-end M&A integrations.
- Proficiency in modern project management tooling, including Aha!, Microsoft Project, and SharePoint.
- Comfort with high-availability expectations, including responsiveness during evenings and weekends for escalations.
- Healthcare industry experience, particularly in value-based care, technology-enablement clinical services companies, Federally Qualified Health Centers (FQHCs), or managed care organizations.
Preferred experience - Consulting background or experience working in a consulting-adjacent environment.
- Systems thinking, with genuine comfort with complexity, interdependencies, and operating without complete information.
- Experience bridging technology strategy and operational execution, including partnering closely with technology leaders to align product and systems decisions with broader integration goals.
- Chicago-based with availability for regular in-person presence preferred.
Who we're looking for - Listen first, orient quickly, and earn trust through follow-through.
- Stay steady in ambiguity, turning unclear situations into clear next steps.
- Hold yourself accountable to outcomes, knowing that this integration has real stakes for real people.
- Bring people through change with empathy and clarity, understanding that how the work gets done matters as much as whether it gets done.
- Operate effectively with close initial oversight during a ramp period, receiving that structure as an investment in shared success rather than a signal of distrust.
- A strong representative of both organizations' mission, vision, and values in every interaction, every meeting, and every hard conversation throughout this integration.
This is a full-time, exempt, salaried position. Commensurate on candidate experience, the expected base salary range for this role is $125,000-$140,000.
