The opportunity.Integration Product owns how customers and strategic partners connect to our platform - the data feeds, order flows, and trade messaging that link external systems to ours. We build and maintain that connectivity directly, and we partner with every trading protocol team on the integration side of their work.
This role's mandate is simple:
keep teams aligned, unblocked, and moving. In practice, that means fielding the steady stream of inbound from across the org, representing Integration Product in the internal meetings and conversations where we need a seat at the table, and partnering with the Product Owner on the spec and decision work that keeps delivery moving. You'll be the first-line filter for internal stakeholder questions, the person who knows where product initiatives stand across our workstreams, and help make sure nothing falls between the cracks when feature delivery work touches multiple teams.
Documentation and Jira hygiene are part of the role, but AI handles a growing share of that work. The real value of this hire is in communication, coordination, judgment, and the ability to walk into an ambiguous situation and walk out with a plan.
This role reports to the Head of Integration Product and is aligned with U.S. trading hours, with typical business hours of 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM ET. The position is based in our New York City office and follows a hybrid work schedule, with employees expected to work onsite several days per week to support collaboration with clients, trading partners, and cross-functional teams across Sales, Product, and Technology.
What you'll do.- Run interference. Field questions from product, dev, and QA across all of the organization's delivery teams. Translate product intent, clarify requirements, support bug triage, and resolve in-flight spec questions. Answer what you can, route what you can't, escalate when judgment is required.
- Represent Integration Product in cross-team forums. Sit in team standups, design reviews, initiative huddles, and rollout planning sessions. Take the action items, follow up, and make sure commitments get tracked.
- Partner on specs across pipelines. Help outline and maintain specs for the Integration pipeline, and review planned features from other pipelines for integration dependencies and downstream impact. Collaborate with protocol teams to scope, document, and validate integration-affecting features even when another team leads development.
- Surface and unblock dependencies. Track what's in flight, spot potential blockers early, and chase down the answers needed to keep work moving. Notice when something has gone quiet and ping the right people.
- Make tactical product decisions. Operate within the Product Owner's strategic framework to refine acceptance criteria, prioritize enhancements, and validate delivery scope - escalating when a call goes beyond the framework.
- Contribute grounded roadmap input. Bring delivery velocity, developer feedback, and operational pain points back into roadmap conversations. Identify tactical improvements that compound team efficiency over time.
- Maintain documentation and ticket workflows. Draft and maintain Confluence pages, keep Jira tickets clean, help structure specs. AI handles more of the drafting every quarter - your job is to make sure the output is right and the workflow holds together.
- Coordinate release and rollout. Run internal release readiness: coordinate dependencies, internal documentation, and cross-team communication for go-lives. Support the Product Owner on GTM for FIX-affecting changes, including release sequencing and enablement work alongside Integration Success. Ensure that all GTM materials (external FIX specs, conformance tests guides, and release notes) are ready to be used and help coordinate internal training sessions for new features.
- Reduce the load over time. Spot patterns in what's eating the team's time and propose ways to reduce it - better docs, clearer processes, lightweight tooling.
