Integration Engineer 3 - Application Control
Seeking an Integration Engineer with Windows and Beyond Trust Endpoint Privilege Management experience to provide subject matter expertise on endpoint application and policy management including the configuration, integration and deployment of enterprise policies.
Seeking an engineer who can:
- Manage the enterprise 3rd Party Privileged Access Management Solution including interacting with the vendor to help drive feature requests and resolve open issues.
- Work with partner teams to test and rollout changes to endpoints.
- Provide guidance on endpoint policy and application decisions.
- Provide guidance for the review and approvals of applications in our STAMP Governance forum.
- Review, troubleshoot and approve elevation requests.
- Provide project updates to leadership including tracking milestones and metrics.
- Work with Line of Business associates to advise on solutions that reduce endpoint risk
- Support Cyber Security Operations Center Investigations / Inquiry Requests.
- Ensure compliance with corporate Governance, Security-Risk and Audit policies, procedures, and best practices.
- Support controls testing, audit responses and investigations.
- Identify gaps in controls, processes, systems and recommend solutions.
- Develop technical documentation, policies, and procedures for endpoint application and policy use and support.
- Understand and contribute to Powershell scripts
Basic Qualifications:
- Bachelor's Degree
- At least 3 years of experience supporting or maintaining cross-platform integrations or system connectivity
- At least 3 years of experience developing or supporting API-based integrations using scripting or orchestration tools
- At least 1 year of experience driving testing, testing frameworks, or integrating new platforms
Preferred Qualifications:
- 4+ years of experience working in a cloud-based environment (AWS, Azure, GCP)
- 3+ years of experience with deployment tooling (Jenkins, GitHub, Artifactory)
- 3+ years of experience in Agile practices
- Experience managing identity and access within systems
- 4+ years of experience implementing or maintaining API-based integrations
- Experience collaborating with architects or platform teams to define integration frameworks and reference architectures
- 2+ years of experience automating infrastructure or system configuration using Terraform, Ansible, CloudFormation, or like technologies
- Familiarity with monitoring, logging, and observability tools (CloudWatch, Splunk, Datadog) to ensure integration performance and resiliency
- Experience mentoring engineers or leading small integration-focused initiatives

The minimum and maximum full-time annual salaries for this role are listed below, by location. Please note that this salary information is solely for candidates hired to perform work within one of these locations, and refers to the amount Capital One is willing to pay at the time of this posting. Salaries for part-time roles will be prorated based upon the agreed upon number of hours to be regularly worked.
McLean, VA: $131,300 - $149,800 for Integration Engineer 3Plano, TX: $119,400 - $136,200 for Integration Engineer 3
Richmond, VA: $119,400 - $136,200 for Integration Engineer 3
Candidates hired to work in other locations will be subject to the pay range associated with that location, and the actual annualized salary amount offered to any candidate at the time of hire will be reflected solely in the candidates offer letter.
This role is also eligible to earn performance based incentive compensation, which may include cash bonus(es) and/or long term incentives (LTI). Incentives could be discretionary or non discretionary depending on the plan.
