Job SummaryThe Intermediate Backend/Integration Developer will support Client Unified Experience by building and maintaining RESTful APIs and integration services. This role surfaces advisor-facing data, application/transaction lifecycle status (eTrack), and client statements/tax documents (eDocs) by integrating backend source systems (Salesforce, Alfresco) with the advisor portal front end. Work includes data mapping, metadata/tagging remediation, entitlement handling, and defect resolution, delivered within an Agile squad under senior technical direction.
Key Responsibilities- Develop RESTful APIs and microservices in Java/Spring Boot (Maven-based, deployed to Azure/AKS)
- Integrate backend systems by consuming and exposing APIs across enterprise platforms, including messaging/queue-based integration (JMS/ActiveMQ)
- Perform SQL data mapping and transformation between source systems and front-end API contracts
- Handle API integration with third-party/enterprise systems, including retrieval of content and metadata handling
- Support Agile delivery with Git-based CI/CD workflows (GitHub, PR-based)
- Remediate metadata/tagging issues and entitlement handling
- Collaborate with Agile squad under senior technical direction to deliver program objectives
