Full Job Description
Auria is actively seeking an Integration and Test (I&T) Engineer in Colorado Springs, CO, to support the development and deployment of the Protected Tactical Enterprise System (PTES). The ideal candidate will perform I&T tasks, including automated test development in a continuous integration environment, verification of system requirements, isolation of system-level defects, and conducting formal test events. Occasional travel to customer and government sites is expected with this position.

WHAT YOU CAN EXPECT TO DO:
  • Design, implement, and maintain manual and automated tests to streamline workflows and boost efficiency.
  • Execute manual and automated tests to ensure integrated systems function properly and troubleshoot integration issues, including performance bottlenecks, compatibility problems, and security vulnerabilities.
  • Conduct and participate in formal test events at customer sites with government witnesses to validate system capabilities.
  • Identify technical debt, inefficiencies, and areas for improvement in existing systems, proposing and implementing solutions to optimize performance, scalability, and maintainability.
  • Produce essential system documentation and effectively communicate complex technical details to various stakeholders, ensuring clarity and understanding.
  • Participate in Scrum/Agile processes, contributing to collaborative and iterative development cycles. Work closely with interdisciplinary teams, stay updated with industry trends, and incorporate feedback for ongoing system refinement.

WHAT THE TEAM REQUIRES:
  • Experience with Unix/Linux OS operating environments
  • Experience with Docker/Container clusters
  • Ability to obtain a U.S. Government SECRET security clearance (requires U.S. Citizenship)
  • Working knowledge of the development process including debugging, test, and integration of software tools
  • Experience with design and development in Agile environment
  • Strong teamwork and interpersonal skills
  • Excellent verbal, written, communication, and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently as well as within a team • Proficiency with M.S. Office Products (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.)


WHAT THE TEAM PREFERS:

  • Current U.S. Government SECRET security clearance (required U.S. Citizenship)
  • Familiarity with automated test and test-driven development concepts, tools, and languages
  • Prior experience working in an Agile/Scrum team using Jira/Confluence/Maven/Jenkins highly desirable
  • Experience with Wideband Global SATCOM (WGS) and protected SATCOM systems, products, and interfaces
  • Familiarity with MBSE models such as activity and sequence diagrams
  • Experience with customer interaction and end-user engagement
  • Experience working in an Agile/Scrum team using tools to assist system development, such as Jira and Confluence, is highly desirable


PAY TRANSPARENCY: The salary offered will be based on the selected candidate's qualifications - skills, education & experience - and the position level. $90,000-$115,000
