Integrated Facilities Manager - JLL

What this job involves:

Join JLL as an Integrated Facilities Manager and become a vital partner in delivering exceptional facility operations in Venus, California. In this role, you will oversee the comprehensive management of facility operations, ensuring seamless service delivery while building strong client relationships and driving operational excellence. You will lead a dynamic team, manage vendor partnerships, and ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental standards. What your day-to-day will look like:

Client Relationships & Service Delivery
  • Proactively develop and manage client relationships, ensuring expected service levels are achieved and Key Performance Indicators are met or exceeded
  • Deliver exceptional quality of service as reflected by client feedback and comply with all client contract requirements
  • Manage site operations in accordance with agreed policies, procedures, and contract scope
  • Assist with the development and implementation of annual management plans for assigned buildings


Facilities Operations Management
  • Oversee mechanical, electrical, plumbing, carpentry, critical systems, HVAC, generators, and other systems within the portfolio
  • Manage repairs and maintenance, minor works, and service requests, tracking all to completion
  • Lead small-scale construction projects and coordinate with cross-functional teams including fitness, food services, security, and capital projects
  • Support move teams during building moves, adds, and changes, serving as the key point of contact and escalation resource


Vendor & Performance Management
  • Manage vendor performance, ensuring services are delivered according to contract standards
  • Document and escalate instances of poor performance
  • Support procurement processes for vendor contracts in collaboration with sourcing SME and area managers
  • Deliver portfolio management reports as required under client agreements


Financial Management
  • Achieve or exceed financial targets while ensuring efficient and economic operation of assigned responsibilities
  • Manage operational expenditure within agreed budgets and identify cost efficiencies
  • Lead annual budgeting and quarterly forecasting processes
  • Prepare budget spend reports including actual vs. budget variance analysis
  • Manage vendor payments using available systems while complying with all relevant policies
  • Help develop and approve annual capital plans, interfacing closely with client representatives


Leadership & Team Development
  • Lead, manage, develop, and supervise a professional, energetic, and detail-oriented facilities team
  • Provide excellent onboarding, training, and team building initiatives
  • Foster an environment of teamwork, cooperation, performance excellence, and personal success
  • Participate in individual performance management programs and personal development planning
  • Act as an ambassador for JLL, upholding the firm's core values of Teamwork, Ethics, and Excellence


Required Qualifications:
  • 5 to 10 years of supervisory experience in facilities management-related fields, including client service, conference services, vendor contracts, and/or related services
  • Proficiency in a range of information technology tools and platforms
  • Excellence in communication skills with the ability to engage effectively with clients, team members, and vendors
  • Strong analytical, organizational, and presentation skills
  • Knowledge of local health and safety requirements
  • Ability to thrive in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.
  • Hold themselves to a high ethical standard and be solution oriented.


Preferred Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's Degree or Diploma in Facility, Property, or Operations Management
  • Professional certifications such as:
    • Certified Facility Manager (CFM)
    • Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design Accredited Professional (LEED AP)
    • Project Management Professional (PMP)
    • BOMA or IFMA certifications
  • Fire Safety Manager Accreditation

Day shift: 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM, Monday to Friday

Salary:

$101,500 to $130,000 annually

This position does not provide visa sponsorship. Candidates must be authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship.

Estimated compensation for this position:

101,500.00 - 130,000.00 USD per year

This range is an estimate and actual compensation may differ. Final compensation packages are determined by various considerations including but not limited to candidate qualifications, location, market conditions, and internal considerations.
