ResponsibilitiesAs a key member of our engineering department, you'll collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to support the safe, reliable, and efficient operation of commercial nuclear power facilities. A typical day may include conducting electrical assessments, ensuring compliance with regulatory standards, updating plant drawings and documentation, reviewing vendor submittals, and implementing innovative solutions to enhance plant reliability and safety.
- Develop Engineering Deliverables: Produce precise and error-free drawings, calculations, and analyses that exceed industry codes, standards, and client expectations, ensuring every project is built on a solid foundation of accuracy
- Set the Standard: Develop engineering documents that not only meet but surpass client, ENERCON, and regulatory requirements, adhering to processes that guarantee excellence every step of the way
- Stay on the Cutting Edge: Continuously enhance your expertise in industry codes, safety culture principles, and advanced design techniques, staying ahead in the dynamic nuclear sector
- Drive Quality & Precision: Deliver exceptional engineering solutions that align with rigorous quality assurance programs and consistently raise the bar for project performance
- Cultivate Strong Client Connections: Build trust and lasting relationships through clear communication, professional engagement, and the consistent delivery of superior engineering results
- Collaborate Across Disciplines: Partner seamlessly with multidisciplinary teams to create integrated, well-rounded designs that meet diverse project requirements
- Provide Field Support: Take your expertise on-site, engaging directly with client personnel, performing detailed plant walkdowns, and ensuring all structures, systems, and components meet the highest engineering standards
Qualifications- Bachelor's in Electrical, Mechanical or similar Engineering Degree from an accredited university
- Minimum 3 years of experience with design of I&C plant components and controls systems including PLC's and DCS
- Must have experience in power generation, nuclear power or government (DOE) projects directly or with an engineering/design consulting firm
- Good writing, presentation and communication skills
- Ability to be an individual contributor and work effectively in teams
- Proficient in Word and Excel
- Due to Federal Contract Requirements, US Citizenship is required
Compensation RangeUSD $90,000.00 - USD $185,000.00 /Yr.
