In the role of Instrumentation Controls Electrician, you will maintain and repair industrial electrical systems while following strict safety and compliance standards. Focus on equipment reliability through troubleshooting, preventive maintenance, and data-driven improvements. You will also work cross-functionally to reduce downtime and ensure accurate documentation of all maintenance activities.

What You'll Be Brewing:
  • Adhere to all safety standards, including OSHA, NFPA, NEC, Molson Coors ESP, and Qualified Electrical Worker requirements; perform LOTO in accordance with Molson Coors Electrical Safe Work Practices.
  • Install, troubleshoot, PM, and repair electrical systems, apparatus, and electrical and electronic components of industrial machinery and equipment by following electrical code, manuals, schematic diagrams, blueprints, and other specifications, using hand tools, power tools, and electrical and electronics test equipment.
  • Collaborate with the CBM team to design, implement, and maintain condition-based monitoring practices to predict equipment failures and recommend corrective actions with timelines.
  • Work independently with minimal supervision, maintaining a strong focus on equipment reliability and execution of standardized maintenance strategies.
  • Partner with department leaders, equipment specialists, maintenance leads, and tri0s to reduce unplanned downtime.
  • Communicate with external and internal customers in a professional manner concerning all pertinent machine data that impacts the user's ability to run equipment or systems
  • Apply data analysis and root-cause problem-solving methods to drive continuous improvement.
  • Accurately document all work activities in SAP, including labor, parts, and technical details.
  • Complete preventive maintenance and work order tasks to ensure electrical assemblies meet specification and production requirements.
  • Ability to complete Tech Ladder Education and Training assignments in a timely manner.


Key Ingredients:
  • Education: High school diploma or GED; technical degree or industrial maintenance certification preferred.
  • Experience: Minimum of 3 years of industrial electrical experience in a high-speed manufacturing environment. Advanced electrical troubleshooting experience. Ability to maintain Qualified Electrical Worker status. Proficiency in PLC programming and advanced Windows-based applications. Experience in automated conveyance systems, palletizers, robotic stackers, etc.
  • Technical Skills: Proficient in hydraulic, pneumatic, and drivetrain troubleshooting; experience with gearbox rebuilds, conveyors, palletizers, and related systems.
  • Tools and Systems: Skilled in the use of hand tools, power tools, precision measurement instruments, and basic computer applications, including MS Office and SAP. Advanced knowledge and experience using Multimeters, Oscilloscopes, Thermal Imagers, Power Quality Monitors, and SCADA systems for analysis.
  • Soft Skills: Strong problem-solving, analytical, communication, and teamwork skills with attention to detail.
