Overview

Instructional System Development Technical Writer

Location: Colorado Springs, CO

Wage Range: $100,000 to $110,000

Tutulu is seeking a highly motivated individuals who are experienced in Technical Writing and can support the DoW's Instructional Systems Development (ISD) processes.

In this role, contractors will assist in the development of capabilities-based requirements for ISD efforts in support of Space Control mission areas ensuring instructional requirements are doctrinally sound and technically mapped to Space Control capabilities.

This Technical Writer will assist both ISD Analysts and the government customer in drafting, refining, reviewing, and publishing the operational Training System Requirements Analysis (TSRA) documentation to support Capabilities-Based Assessment for multiple Space Control capabilities assigned to Mission Delta 3 and Mission Delta 9. Contractors will ensure documentation accurately captures integrate constraints/variables from the applicable Mission Area Requirements Document, Enterprise Requirements Documents, Training Planning Teams, Combat Force Component Fielding Processes, and/or other DOTmLPF-P change recommendations into the TSRA.

In addition to TSRA development, contractors will generate Systems Training Plans (STP) for space control capabilities; identifying instructional requirements, recommending solutions, projecting resource requirements to support programing and budget justification during PPBE cycles.

Requirements

Skills/Experience Required:
• Experience with Suite of Microsoft applications (Word, Power Point, Excel, etc.)
• Active TS/SCI Required
• 5+ years working DOW systems training or Technical Writing
• Previous Special Access Program experience (preferred)
• Previous DoW Instructional System Development and System Training Plans to include familiarity with:
• DAFPD 36-26, Total Force Development and Management
• MIL-HDBK 29612-2A
• DAFH 36-2675
• DAFPD 13-6, Nuclear, Space, Missile, Command and Control Operations
• AFPD 63-1/20-1, Integrated Life Cycle
• Demonstrates exceptional verbal and written communication abilities, adept at articulating complex ideas clearly and effectively, fostering seamless collaboration and understanding across diverse teams and stakeholders
• Experience with Suite of Microsoft applications (Word, Power Point, Excel, etc.)
• Excellent communications skills (written/verbal)

Education/Certification Requirements:
• Bachelor's degree or Higher in Technical or Related Field

Security Clearance:
Secret Clearance - Must be a U.S. Citizen. A high-level Department of Defense active security clearance may be required. Applicants selected will be subject to a security investigation and may need to meet eligibility requirements for access to government information.

Physical Requirements:
Work may involve sitting or standing for extended periods ohime and typing and reading from a computer screen. The candidate must have enough mobility, including bending, reaching, and kneeling, to complete daily duties in a prompt and efficient manner and that may include lifting to thirty pounds, as necessary.

Posted Salary Range

USD $100,000.00 - USD $110,000.00 /Yr.
