Job Description:

Instructional Systems Designer

The Instructional Systems Designer position requires experience supporting the development, organization and delivery of training and/or educational programs for customer personnel. Delivery methods may include classroom instruction, web based training, focused briefings, multimedia presentation, or a combination of both.

The position will require experience in the methods used to develop and enhance instructional curriculum, as well as experience in adult learning practices. The candidate will maximize the use of multimedia and instructional technologies to conduct effective education and training.

Experience in various security disciples such as insider threat, security processing, adjudications, information assurance and counterintelligence is a plus.

Experience: 5 years' experience in Instructional Systems Design of which 3 years' were supporting the Intelligence Community.

Certifications Desired: Kirkpatrick Certified, E-learning development software.

Education: Bachelor's Degree or approximately 8 years' of related work experience

Contributes to completion of specific training programs and projects.

Provides training solutions to a wide range of difficult problems.

Oversees the planning and designing of instructional methods and materials.

Oversees training and design solutions to develop program management curricula/programs.

Oversees the delivery of on-site and/or in-house training classes, seminars, self-study, lectures, demonstrations, simulation exercises and discussion groups for customers and/or employees.

Develops measurement tools to evaluate the effectiveness of instruction or training interventions.

Maintains current knowledge of relevant training and technology.

May coach and review the work of less-experienced professionals.

The likely salary range for this position is $110,500 - $149,500. This is not, however, a guarantee of compensation or salary. Rather, salary will be set based on experience, geographic location and possibly contractual requirements and could fall outside of this range.
