This role is an integral part of Blue Origin's Threat Management and Intelligence Investigations team, dedicated to protecting our people, assets, and sensitive information. As a member of this team, you will contribute to the development, advancement, and execution of a robust insider threat program - leveraging critical thinking, innovative problem-solving, and cross-functional collaboration to drive impactful outcomes.
We are seeking a proactive, action-oriented analyst with strong organizational skills who can thrive in a fast-paced environment. You'll join a small, high-performing team of experts supporting the development and operation of a mission-critical security program.

On-site in Seattle, WA or Merritt Island, FL
Travel: Up to 40%
Responsibilities
- Identify, triage, investigate, and remediate insider threat-related security indicators and anomalies
- Conduct insider threat investigations under the guidance of senior analysts, from initiation through resolution
- Assist in evaluating and implementing controls to reduce Blue Origin's attack surface from an insider threat perspective
- Apply counterintelligence concepts to security operations, particularly in identifying and addressing insider threat activity
Technical Tooling & Systems:
- Build, configure, and maintain case management workflows within designated program systems to support investigative tracking and reporting
- Develop and maintain metrics dashboards and trackers to provide leadership visibility into program performance, case status, and investigative trends
- Design and build custom tools and automations within designated platforms to reduce manual effort and streamline recurring analytical or investigative tasks
- Proactively identify workflow gaps or inefficiencies and propose/implement technical solutions to address program priorities
- Administer and configure designated case management and program software, including managing workflows, fields, and reporting configurations as needed
Required Qualifications
- Ability to work independently on assigned tasks while contributing to larger, more complex team projects
- Experience conducting open-source or all-source intelligence analysis and investigations
- Working knowledge of modern adversary tradecraft and associated mitigating controls
- Strong analytical skills, with demonstrated ability to interpret complex data and derive actionable insights
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, PowerPoint, SharePoint) with demonstrated ability to build trackers, dashboards, and reporting tools
- Ability to learn, configure, and build tools within specialized/proprietary platforms (training provided on program-specific systems)
- Active TS/SCI clearance or ability to obtain a security clearance
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Cybersecurity, Risk Management, Criminal Justice, or related field
- 2+ years of intelligence analyst or investigative experience
- Familiarity with NISPOM or other government security/regulatory frameworks
- Familiarity with ONTIC SW
- Experience supporting a formal Insider Threat Program (InTP) in compliance with DCSA standards
Base Pay Range for:
WA applicants is $99,201.00 - $138,880.35
