Summary:
PennAero is hiring an Inside Sales Manager at our RSA Engineered Products Company in Simi Valley, CA. RSA provides flight-critical components and assemblies for the commercial, defense and business jet markets. RSA designs and produces custom-engineered high pressure/high-temperature ducting assemblies for each customer's specific performance requirements. RSA's Peri-SealTM is one of the most sought after connectors in the aerospace industry. Additionally, RSA designs and produces flexible joints and hoses, ozone converters and many complex assemblies to meet stringent customer needs.
JOB SUMMARY:
The Inside Sales Manager oversees the company's Inside Sales department withdirect responsibility for the development and implementation of businessrelationships with customers. This position plans, directs, and supportsall inside sales strategies, functions, policies, objectives and initiatives.
Anticipates and reacts quickly to trends and changes in performance.Manages, develops, and mentors the inside sales team. Directly managesinside sales and customer service representatives. Participates corporate succession planning activities, writes and delivers employee reviews,keeps close tabs on employee morale and creates a positive working environment.
Essential Duties, Responsibilities andCompetencies:
Analyzes marketing trends, sales history, demographic information and relateddatabases to establish pricing and prepare proposals.
Collects and analyzes data on the market position of competitors.
Assists with sales negotiations, attends sales presentations and helps closesales deals. Directly manages very large, high profile customer accounts,as appropriate.
Ensures inside sales employees are equipped with the product, system andselling-skills training, that they require being successful.
Continually improves the effectiveness of the inside sales organization andenhances productivity, efficiency and customer satisfaction.
Develop and coordinate inside sales selling cycle and methodology.
Establish and implement short-and long-range goals, objectives, policies, andoperating procedures.
Promote positive relations with partners and distributors.
Work with department managers and corporate staff to develop strategies forfuture business plan for the company
Excellent verbal, written, interpersonal and persuasionskills.
Work using both ERP and CRM systems as well as customerportal.
Manages the standardized price list.
Helps to resolve customer conflicts and manages the processof providing status to customers for orders.
Works with assigned outside sales team and supports themanagement team as requested.
This role is required to be on-site 5 days at the Simi Valley, CA location.
Qualifications
Qualifications:
Bachelor'sdegree in Marketing or Business preferred. Must have seven to ten yearsof experience in a sales leadership role with at least 4 years inselling. Must have experience in new business development activities,including customer interaction, acquisition and procurement processes, and competitive assessment
Knowledge of contracting, negotiating, and change management. Knowledgeof structuring sales quota goals and revenue expectations.
Able to travel 5% of the time.
Compensation
In compliance with all states and cities requiring transparency of pay, the expected pay range for this position is $113,000 - $145,000.
Compensation can vary depending on several factors, including a candidate's qualifications, skills, experience, competencies, and geographic location. Some roles may qualify for extra incentives like equity, commissions, or other variable performance-related bonuses.
