This role will virtually lead a team of Inside Sales Executives within identified geographic markets and is responsible for developing and implementing strategies that contribute to the growth of the organization through new client acquisition. You will put your day-to-day leadership skills to the test and will be responsible for recruiting, onboarding, training and motivating the team while creating an environment that promotes collaboration and success.
General Responsibilities:
Grow and manage a team of Inside Sales Executives who are responsible for driving new clients to the organization
Develop and implement sales strategies, setting and monitoring sales goals and progress
Provide training and ongoing call coaching
Be creative and find new lead opportunities such as partnerships and referral network
Assess current sales practices and create improvement to meet and exceed all goal metrics
Track sales quotas for your team
Report on sales metrics and suggest improvements
Ensure sales, finance and legal policies and procedures are met
Build an open-communication environment for your team
Discover training needs and provide coaching
Some travel is required (10%)
Competencies:
Excellent writing and oral presentation skills
Strong organizational, problem solving, interpersonal, telephone and PC skills
Ability to proactively and effectively communicate
Comfortable working and leading in a virtual environment
Makes sound independent decisions, and demonstrates sound judgment to seek senior support or expertise
Strong financial and business acumen
Display sound awareness and history with being a well-managed leader
Proven ability to build trust, foster strong followership, and champion a diverse culture of inclusion and belonging
Expert capability in mapping out and implementing sales strategies that drive measurable business growth
Skilled at establishing clear metrics, motivating teams, and holding individuals accountable to deliver high-quality results

Bachelor’s Degree or military experience
4 years of experience in a sales leadership role
Experience leading sales teams to above goal attainment
Experience with CRM software, MS Excel and Google Suite Products

The minimum and maximum full-time annual salaries for this role are listed below, by location. Please note that this salary information is solely for candidates hired to perform work within one of these locations, and refers to the amount Capital One is willing to pay at the time of this posting. Salaries for part-time roles will be prorated based upon the agreed upon number of hours to be regularly worked.
Plano, TX: $138,100 - $157,700 for Manager, Client Development
Candidates hired to work in other locations will be subject to the pay range associated with that location, and the actual annualized salary amount offered to any candidate at the time of hire will be reflected solely in the candidate’s offer letter.
This role is also eligible to earn performance based incentive compensation, which may include cash bonus(es) and/or long term incentives (LTI). Incentives could be discretionary or non discretionary depending on the plan.
