Job Description

Seeking an experienced Inpatient Pharmacist to provide comprehensive pharmaceutical services in an acute-care hospital setting. The pharmacist will be responsible for medication preparation, dispensing, verification, medication management, inventory control, and collaboration with the healthcare team.

Key Responsibilities :
  • Supervise, coordinate, and participate in pharmaceutical services related to the preparation and dispensing of medications and pharmaceutical supplies.
  • Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local pharmacy laws and regulations.
  • Maintain accountability for medications and pharmaceutical supplies prepared and dispensed.
  • Provide medication-related information to healthcare providers.
  • Maintain and update pharmaceutical, formulary, drug usage, and compatibility information.
  • Perform medication order review and verification.
  • Compound, package, and label medications, ointments, solutions, and bulk pharmaceutical supplies.
  • Prepare IV medications and sterile compounds.
  • Maintain pharmacy inventory and reorder medications and supplies.
  • Perform dosing and pharmacokinetic calculations.
  • Maintain accurate pharmacy records and documentation.
  • Collaborate with pharmacy and interdisciplinary healthcare teams.
