Responsibilities

  • Perform admissions, consultations, follow-up visits, and discharge management
  • Coordinate care with nursing staff, hospitalists, specialists, case management, and ancillary services
  • Review and interpret diagnostic testing within scope of practice
  • Provide patient and family education regarding diagnoses and treatment plans

Hospital-Based Cardiology APP | AdventHealth Palm Coast and AdventHealth Palm Coast Parkway

AdventHealth Medical Group is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Advanced Practice Provider (Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant) to join our growing inpatient cardiology team serving AdventHealth Palm Coast and AdventHealth Palm Coast Parkway. This is an exceptional opportunity to practice at two modern hospitals while working alongside an experienced team of cardiologists committed to delivering exceptional cardiovascular care.

  • Provide patient and family education regarding diagnoses, treatment plans, medications, and lifestyle modifications
  • Ensure timely documentation and support quality and patient satisfaction initiatives

  • Graduate of an accredited Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant program
  • Current Florida licensure or eligibility for Florida licensure
  • National certification as an NP or PA
  • Cardiology, hospital medicine, critical care, or inpatient experience preferred
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
