Responsibilities

  • Conduct due diligence on Invention Disclosures received by the Technology Licensing Office.
  • Develop marketing materials based on Invention Disclosures and TLO initiatives.

Qualifications

Bachelor of Laws (LL.B), or Juris Doctor (J.D.), degree and five years of related experience in a university or public institutional setting within a technology transfer office, or an equivalent combination of education, training and experience.
  • Adept at legal contract review.
  • Manages the negotiation of complex and multi-party contracts and agreements.
  • Can administer complex and bi- or multi-party University innovation and/or technology licensing agreements.
  • Conducts due diligence on Invention Disclosures received by the TLO.
  • Develops Marketing Materials based on Invention Disclosures and TLO general initiatives.
