Nous recherchons un spécialiste en ingénierie logicielle et matérielle électronique d'aéronefs hautement motivé pour rejoindre notre équipe d'assurance de la conception d'équipements électroniques (ACEE) dans notre installation à Mirabel, Québec, Canada.

Sommaire des responsabilités

  • Participer aux revues préliminaires et critiques de la conception du système.
  • Préparer ou contribuer aux plans de certification des logiciels et matériels électroniques du programme.
  • Évaluer les conceptions de logiciels et de matériels électroniques des fournisseurs (FPGA, ASIC, PLD).
  • Effectuer des audits techniques et de processus.
  • Réaliser des revues de sécurité de vol.
  • Évaluer les données du cycle de vie des logiciels et matériels électroniques pour garantir la conformité aux normes.
  • Mener la résolution des déficiences en matière de sécurité, de conformité ou de technique avec les fournisseurs et d'autres parties prenantes du programme.
  • Préparer et/ou examiner les rapports de conformité de conception.
  • Contribuer à l'évolution des meilleures pratiques de l'ACEE.

Exigences du poste / Qualifications

  • Diplôme d'ingénieur universitaire en avionique, électronique, logiciel ou équivalent.
  • Minimum de 5 ans d'expérience en logiciels et matériels électroniques embarqués
  • Minimum de 8 ans d'expérience en ingénierie technique, dont au moins 5 ans dans l'aéronautique.
  • Connaissances fonctionnelles en francais
  • Connaissances fonctionnelles en anglais, ce poste nécessite des communications en anglais avec les équipes de Bell hors Québec et/ou ses fournisseurs, partenaires et clients hors Québec
  • Connaissance pratique des directives et moyens de conformité des logiciels et matériels électroniques embarqués, y compris ARP-4754A/B, RTCA DO-178B, DO-178C et ses suppléments, DO-248B/C, DO-254, DO-297 (IMA), DO-326A/DO-356A/DO-355 (sécurité des cubes), DO-330, DO-200A, FAA AC 20-115D, AC 20-152A, Order 8110.49A et 8110.105A.

We are seeking a highly motivated Aircraft Electronic Software and Hardware Engineering Specialist to join our Electronic Equipment Design Assurance (EEDA) team at our facility in Mirabel, Quebec, Canada.

Summary of job description

  • Participate in preliminary and critical system design reviews.
  • Prepare or contribute to program software and electronic hardware certification plans.
  • Evaluate supplier's software and electronic (FPGA, ASIC, PLD) designs.
  • Conduct technical and process audits.
  • Perform safety of flight reviews.
  • Assess software and electronic hardware life cycle data to ensure compliance to standards.
  • Lead the resolution of safety, compliance, or technical deficiencies with suppliers and other program stakeholders.
  • Prepare and/or review design compliance reports.
  • Contribute to the evolution of EEDA best practices.

Minimum required qualifications

  • Minimum of 8 years of technical engineering experience, including at least 5 years in aeronautics.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in airborne software and electronic hardware:
  • Working knowledge of airborne software and electronic hardware guidance and Means of Compliance, including ARP-5754A/B, RTCA DO-178B, DO-178C and supplements, DO-248B/C, DO-254, DO-297 (IMA), DO-326A/DO-356A/DO-355 (Cuber security), DO-330, DO-200A, FAA AC 20-115D, AC 20-152A, Order 8110.49A, and 8110.105A.
  • If a candidate does not possess functional knowledge of French, their application may still be considered, provided that, at the time of hiring, they commit to acquiring such knowledge by taking French courses.
  • Functional knowledge of English is required for this position, as it involves communication in English with Bell teams outside of Quebec and/or its suppliers, partners, and clients outside of Quebec.
  • Multiple programming languages (C, C++, Ada95, Assembly, Python, etc.) and Multiple hardware description languages.
  • Development and testing (FPGA, ASIC, or PLD).
  • Knowledge of requirements capture environments (DOORS, JAMA, etc.).
  • Understanding of embedded computer architectures, operating systems, and real-time executives.
  • Eligible for a P. Eng. or equivalent.
