Description du poste

Se rapportant au chef de service du département Civil (Structures), le ou la titulaire du poste participera à la réalisation de projets majeurs dans le secteur de l'hydroélectricité et des infrastructures énergétiques. Il ou elle contribuera aux études de faisabilité, aux avant-projets, à l'ingénierie détaillée ainsi qu'aux projets de réhabilitation et de modernisation d'ouvrages existants, notamment pour des centrales à réserve pompée (pumped storage), des centrales hydroélectriques conventionnelles et des barrages. Dans le cadre de ses fonctions, la personne retenue assumera notamment les responsabilités suivantes

Tâches et responsabilités:
  • Établir et entretenir des contacts avec les clients pour définir les besoins, effectuer la présentation de l'information technique, des concepts ou les résultats d'études;
  • Assister le directeur de projet pour le suivi, la coordination, l'évolution et l'avancement de la production des livrables par les équipes de conception;
  • Préparer des estimations budgétaires;
  • Réaliser et/ou superviser des calculs de conception, incluant des études de stabilité, et veiller à ce que les plans correspondent aux lignes directrices, aux prescriptions des codes et autres règlements;
  • Effectuer la revue de concepts et la vérification des calculs de conception fait par d'autres;
  • Assurer la vérification et la production des dossiers d'appels d'offres, de constructions et d'autres documents techniques;
  • Superviser le travail des ingénieurs et des techniciens et dessinateurs attitrés au projet;
  • Effectuer toutes autres tâches connexes pouvant aider à la réalisation du projet.


Qualifications

Qualifications minimales requises:
  • Baccalauréat en génie civil (structures);
  • Être membre en règle d'un ordre professionnel d'ingénieurs au Canada;
  • Posséder au moins 6 ans d'expérience en conception et analyse structurale;
  • Excellentes connaissances en structures de béton et charpente d'acier.
  • Maîtrise des logiciels d'analyse structurale;
  • Excellentes habiletés de communication (orale et écrite) en anglais. La connaissance de français est considérée comme un atout.

Qualifications souhaitables :
  • Minimum 10 ans d'expérience pertinente et solide en conception de structures (béton armé, charpente d'acier) dans le domaine de l'hydroélectricité et des barrages (centrales, barrages, ouvrages de retenue, ouvrages souterrains);
  • La maîtrise des logiciels d'analyse structurale tels que Advance Design et/ou ANSYS et/ou ABAQUS;
  • Une maîtrise en genie civil (structures)
  • Excellentes aptitudes pour le travail en équipe : apte à maintenir de bonnes relations d'affaires avec les différentes parties impliquées dans les projets;
  • Excellentes habiletés de communication en anglais (orale et écrite) car certains mandats sont hors du Québec dans le cadre de ce poste.
