Responsibilities

  • Conduct hydrological and hydraulic studies (watersheds, watercourses, urban environments)
  • Develop and operate advanced hydrological and hydraulic models (PCSWMM, HEC-RAS 1D/2D, HEC-HMS)
  • Engage in river projects, flood analyses, and climate resilience studies
  • Design and evaluate hydraulic structures and stormwater management solutions
  • Design and integrate green infrastructure and nature-based solutions
  • Prepare hydrological balances, mass balances, and risk analyses
  • Contribute to technical reports, plans and specifications, and permit applications
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams (environment, geotechnics, river)
  • Mentor junior engineers

AECOM est un leader au Québec dans le domaine des ressources en eau, de l'hydrologie appliquée et des infrastructures vertes, avec de nombreux mandats municipaux liés aux projets fluviaux, à la gestion des bassins versants et à l'adaptation aux changements climatiques. Nous recherchons un(e) Ingénieur en gestion des eaux pour contribuer à des projets structurants où la gestion quantitative et qualitative de l'eau guide les décisions stratégiques.

Votre rôle
  • Réaliser des études hydrologiques et hydrauliques (bassins versants, cours d'eau, milieux urbains)
  • Développer et exploiter des modèles hydrologiques et hydrauliques avancés (PCSWMM, HEC-RAS 1D/2D, HEC-HMS obligatoires)
  • Intervenir sur des projets fluviaux, analyses d'inondation et études de résilience climatique
  • Concevoir et évaluer des ouvrages hydrauliques et des solutions de gestion des eaux pluviales
  • Concevoir et intégrer des infrastructures vertes et des solutions basées sur la nature
  • Élaborer des bilans hydrologiques, bilans de masse et analyses de risques
  • Contribuer à la préparation de rapports techniques, plans et devis, et demandes d'autorisations
  • Collaborer avec des équipes multidisciplinaires (environnement, géotechnique, fluvial)
  • Encadrer techniquement des ingénieurs juniors


Qualifications
  • Baccalauréat en génie civil, génie des eaux ou génie environnemental
  • Minimum de 6 ans d'expérience en hydrologie, hydraulique ou gestion des ressources en eau
  • Membre en règle de l'OIQ
  • Expérience professionnelle au Québec
  • Excellente maîtrise de PCSWMM, HEC-RAS et HEC-HMS
  • Bonne connaissance des cadres réglementaires québécois (MELCCFP, MAMH, municipalités)
  • Excellentes compétences en rédaction technique et en collaboration
  • Bonne compréhension de l'anglais pour des mandats possibles hors Québec
