Localisation: Partout au Québec

Nous sommes à la recherche d'une ingénieure forestière ou d'un ingénieur forestier pour assurer la coordination et le développement du volet forestier de projets majeurs. Le poste est offert à nos bureaux de Montréal, Boucherville ou Québec.

L'équipe d'Évaluation environnementale et participation des collectivités (EEPC) regroupe plus de 95 employés de tous les niveaux et participant à des projets majeurs dans le domaine des infrastructures, énergie renouvelable, développement industriel et minier, etc. Notre groupe collabore activement sur différents projets majeurs et structurants au Québec.

Votre rôle

  • Établir le plan de gestion forestière de projets d'infrastructure, industriels ou miniers majeurs.
  • Coordonner ou réaliser des inventaires forestiers sur le terrain pour des fins de demandes d'autorisations environnementales ou de gestion de projet (évitement, suivi, compensation).
  • Réaliser de la photo-interprétation de superficies forestières pour en établir la description.
  • Élaborer et mettre en œuvre le programme de suivi des superficies forestières de projets majeurs.
  • Préparer des plans de coupe ou de plantation forestières.
  • Préparer des demandes de permis pour des projets de coupe ou plantation forestières.
  • Rédiger des devis et documents d'appels d'offres pour des mandats de coupe ou plantation forestières.
  • Superviser des entrepreneurs dans la réalisation de mandats de coupe ou plantation forestières.
  • Collaborer à planifier et mettre en œuvre des projets de compensation forestière.
  • Comprendre les objectifs du client, les protocoles techniques, les directives et les réglementations qui s'appliquent aux travaux forestiers et aux projets à réaliser.
  • Interagir avec les clients et/ou les autorités réglementaires sur le volet forestier des projets.
  • Participer à la réalisation d'étude d'impact sur l'environnement.
  • Collaborer avec des équipes multidisciplinaires à la réalisation des projets.
  • Maintenir une connaissance actualisée des méthodologies, meilleures pratiques et des pratiques émergentes en matière de gestion forestière des projets majeurs.

À propos de vous

  • Posséder un diplôme d'études universitaires en génie forestier.
  • Être membre de l'ordre des Ingénieurs forestiers du Québec.
  • Posséder 5 à 10 années d'expérience dans le domaine du génie forestier appliqué au domaine de l'environnement et/ou du génie-conseil.
  • Posséder de l'expérience en inventaires forestiers et en photo-interprétation.
  • Posséder une bonne connaissance des normes techniques et règles de l'art en matière de coupe et plantation forestières.
  • Avoir une bonne connaissance des normes, règlements et lignes directrices municipales, provinciales et fédérales en matière d'environnement et de gestion forestière.
  • Démontrer une capacité à collaborer avec le personnel technique et professionnel au sein d'une équipe multidisciplinaire.
  • Démontrer un engagement envers l'excellence en mettant l'accent sur le contrôle et la gestion de la qualité.
  • Avoir une bonne maîtrise du français et de l'anglais* à la lecture, à l'écriture et à l'oral.

*Ce poste requiert la connaissance d'une autre langue que le français, soit l'anglais, puisque vous serez membre d'une équipe de direction canadienne, mondiale ou régionale, et devrez collaborer avec des collègues situés à l'extérieur du Québec.
