Responsabilités du poste

Le titulaire du poste est responsable de projets de développement de produits ou technologies au sein du groupe Recherche & Développement. Plus précisément, le titulaire du poste :

- Coordonne ou participe à différents projets de développement de nouveaux produits ou d'amélioration de produits déjà industrialisés, de réduction de coût et assure le respect de l'échéancier et du budget alloué;
- Organise, coordonne et assiste aux essais techniques (en laboratoire, sur le terrain ou en simulation numérique) afin de valider le bon fonctionnement, la fiabilité et les performances des systèmes, en respectant les exigences de sécurité de l'entreprise;
- Dirige des programmes d'homologation de produits et participe également à la phase d'industrialisation du produit développé;
- Établit et maintien une communication efficace avec les parties prenantes internes et externes (clients, fournisseurs, partenaires industriels et institutions) via des réunions, présentations, rapports d'avancement et comptes rendus sur des aspects techniques et stratégiques des projets;
- Participe activement à l'identification des orientations techniques, des opportunités d'innovation et des axes de recherche clés dans son domaine d'expertise, en cohérence avec les besoins stratégiques de développement des produits et les objectifs de croissance de l'entreprise.
- Transmets ses connaissances aux autres membres de l'entreprise et joue un rôle de formateur pour son domaine d'expertise;
- Coordonne, planifie, organise et mène à terme des projets majeurs faisant appel à des concepts et principes scientifiques complexes nécessitant des connaissances approfondies dans le fonctionnement des munitions;
- Contribue à l'obtention des contrats en accord avec la stratégie de produits;
- Participe au maintien et à l'approfondissement des connaissances dans son champ d'expertise.

Exigences du poste

- Baccalauréat en génie mécanique;
- 3 ans d'expérience pertinente;
- Bilinguisme (français/anglais), excellente compétence et rigueur rédactionnelle;
- Membre de l'Ordre des Ingénieurs du Québec en tant que Ing ou CPI;
- Attitude positive et dynamise favorisant le travail d'équipe;
- Leadership et capacité à motiver les membres d'une équipe multidisciplinaire;
- Connaissance des armes et munitions (un atout);
- Expérience en environnement mixte, syndiqué/non-syndiqué (un atout).
- Le/La candidat(e) doit faire preuve d'un fort sens des responsabilités, en assurant la qualité des livrables introduits via ses projets et actions. Il/elle devra également faire preuve de proactivité pour identifier et résoudre les éventuels défis, tout en se montrant autonome dans la gestion des tâches confiées. Par ailleurs, le poste exige de montrer un véritable esprit d'appropriation ("ownership"), se traduisant par une capacité à assumer pleinement les résultats des décisions prises.
