Full Job Description
Infrastructure Services Engineer to join a collaborative team of Systems Engineers supporting geospatial-intelligence (GEOINT) missions across the National System of Geospatial-intelligence (NSG), Allied System of Geospatial-intelligence (ASG), and Federal agencies. In this role, you will apply a multi-discipline engineering approach to deliver timely, accurate, and reliable GEOINT capabilities.

Note that this position is in St. Louis, Missouri only.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct requirements engineering, solutions engineering, scheduling, reliability, resiliency, services development, integration, test and evaluation, maintainability, and analysis across NSG, ASG, and Federal agency environments
  • Lead planning, analysis, and traceability of user requirements and system architectures; identify opportunities to automate or improve existing systems and evaluate cloud service capabilities, workflows, and scheduling constraints
  • Design solutions based on emerging technologies and requirements analysis, and mentor Junior Engineers in developing these technical skill sets
  • Assist the Government in capturing and translating mission and customer needs into well-defined systems and capability requirements
  • Support the analysis and allocation of requirements to systems architecture components and executing programs
  • Support Government-led systems integration activities across complex, multi-domain environments
  • Contribute to Analysis of Alternatives (AoAs), Courses of Action (CoAs), Trade Studies, and Engineering Assessments
  • Assist with strategic technical planning, project management, performance engineering, risk management, and interface design

Required Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree or higher in Systems Engineering or a related technical/scientific field (engineering, physics, mathematics, operations research, engineering management, Computer Science, Information Technology, Management Information Systems, or related STEM discipline); 6+ years of Systems Engineering experience may be substituted in lieu of a degree
  • 6+ years of experience in government or industry across one or more of the following: DoD/IC Acquisition Process, Requirements Process, PPBES Process, or systems engineering of large-scale Systems of Systems or Service-Oriented Architecture/Cloud environments
  • Active TS/SCI clearance or the ability to obtain SCI access and pass a polygraph

Desired Qualifications
  • Working knowledge of Model-Based Systems Engineering (MBSE), including relevant processes, tools, and languages
  • Familiarity with Software Development Frameworks
  • Documented experience in the geospatial intelligence field
  • Active membership or participation in a relevant professional organization, including:
    • ACSM, ASCE, ASPRS, OGC, SAREM, or USGIF
  • Working knowledge of photogrammetry, remote sensing, image science, information sciences, GIS, geomatics, or related disciplines
  • Demonstrated familiarity with the current NSG/ASG and NRO enterprise environments

This position is contingent upon the successful award of a contract. We are currently building a team of qualified candidates to be proposed for this upcoming project.

Compensation & Pay Scale:
  • Salary Range: $55,000 to $130,000
  • Determination: The final salary offered will be based on the awarded contract funding and the selected candidate's experience, education, and geographic location.
