About the Position

Infrastructure Services Bureau Manager
The Infrastructure Services Bureau Manager (ISBM) is a senior leader within the City's Technology & Innovation Department (TI), reporting to the Deputy Director and overseeing one of five TI bureaus. Leading a team of approximately 48 staff across three divisions, the ISBM is responsible for managing the City's core IT infrastructure-networks, cloud and on-prem systems, data centers, security access, mainframe computing, and public safety communications.
This role blends strategy and operations, driving digital transformation while ensuring reliable service delivery. The ISBM works closely with City leadership and external partners, champions innovation and equity, and builds a culture of service excellence, continuous improvement, and collaboration.

Minimum Qualifications

  • A bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university in information technology, computer science, engineering, public administration, or a related field.
  • 5 years of progressively responsible full-time experience in information technology, overseeing staff, budgets, and strategic initiatives.
  • Three (3) years of the required experience must have been gained in a supervisory capacity

Desirable Qualifications: Experience in both public and private sector environments is preferred, especially with large-scale IT infrastructure projects.
