Role purpose

Lead infrastructure-risk, environmental/social and climate-resilience screening for digital, telecom, data-center, transport and utility activities.

Representative assignment problems

Screen seismic, flood, heat, wildfire, power, water, telecom and cascading dependency hazards.

Assess environmental/social baselines, e-waste, energy/water use, labor, land, accessibility and mitigation.

Write proportional PESIA/resilience TOR tasks and independently review recommendations.

Responsibilities

Produce concise, evidence-traceable inputs for Preliminary Assessments, Project Reports, TORs, independent budgets, schedules and the cumulative Final Report.

Participate in rapid mobilization, remote analysis, quality reviews and international travel when assigned.

Coordinate across technical, country, finance, export, resilience and editorial disciplines; surface contradictions and uncertainties early.

Protect Government, sponsor, customer and candidate information; immediately disclose actual, potential or apparent conflicts.

Minimum evidence-based qualifications

10+ years of infrastructure climate-risk, resilience or environmental/social due diligence.

Direct experience with digital, power, water, transport or data-center dependencies.

World Bank/IFC/DFI safeguards or comparable standards.

International field and decision-product experience.

U.S. citizen or lawful permanent resident; Axyde will request written confirmation but not identity documents during recruiting.

Ability to support proposal or delivery activity on approximately 20 days' notice, subject to assignment timing.

Strong written English and ability to produce concise Government decision products.

Willingness and ability to travel internationally, including up to three trips of up to ten business days when assigned.
