We are looking for a skilled and motivated Infrastructure Platform Engineer to join our Infrastructure Engineering and Cloud Enablement organization. As a key member of the Infrastructure Platform Engineering (IPE) team, you will contribute to the modernization of microservice platforms focused on container architecture and enterprise scale. You will work closely with engineering peers to build scalable, reusable platforms and tooling - including Linux/Unix infrastructure and Ansible Automation Platform (AAP) - that empower technical teams to deliver faster, more reliably, and with consistency. You will play an active role in developing and maintaining automation workflows using Ansible, managing enterprise Linux environments, and supporting the broader platform engineering lifecycle. This is a contributor role with opportunities to influence technical direction, contribute to platform capabilities, and grow within a high-impact team.

What You will Do:
  • Support the firm's container platform (OCP), contributing to its scalability, reliability, and ease of use for internal application teams.
  • Contribute to the evolution of OpenShift as a platform by providing input into the technical roadmap.
  • Help evaluate new tools and approaches for infrastructure modernization with a strong focus on risk mitigation and business continuity.
  • Collaborate with team members to define platform roadmaps, create standards for Infrastructure as Code (IaC), automation, and self-service capabilities.
  • Develop and support infrastructure pipelines, Ansible playbooks, and Terraform modules to support consistent delivery across hosting platforms (OCP, VMware).
  • Design, build, and maintain Ansible Automation Platform (AAP) workflows, including playbooks, roles, and execution environments for enterprise-scale automation across Linux/Unix and container infrastructure.
  • Administer and support enterprise Linux/Unix environments, including system configuration, patching, hardening, and lifecycle management in alignment with security and compliance standards.
  • Write, evaluate, and maintain infrastructure automation artifacts following established coding and release standards.
  • Work closely with Cloud and Core Infrastructure teams to ensure platform solutions are secure, scalable, and aligned with hybrid infrastructure patterns.
  • Document solutions, share knowledge, and contribute to a culture of continuous improvement and engineering excellence.

What we are Looking For:
  • 4-6 years of experience in infrastructure engineering, DevOps, or platform engineering roles.
  • Firsthand experience supporting OCP or Kubernetes in hybrid environments, including cluster operations and day-to-day support.
  • Solid understanding of containerization principles, security, and orchestration at scale.
  • Hands-on Linux/Unix engineering experience, including system configuration, hardening, patching, and lifecycle management in enterprise environments.
  • Practical experience with Ansible or AAP, including writing and maintaining playbooks, roles, and automation workflows at scale.
  • Familiarity with CI/CD tools such as Azure DevOps and Git-based workflows.
  • Exposure to VMware or VCF-based private cloud platforms and their integration with automation pipelines.
  • Ability to work collaboratively across teams and communicate effectively with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Passion for automation, infrastructure modernization, and improving developer and operator experiences.
  • Eagerness to learn, grow, and contribute to a high-performing engineering team.

The expected base salary ranges from $111k-$175k. Salary offers are based on a wide range of factors including relevant skills, training, experience, education, and, where applicable, certifications and licenses obtained. Market and organizational factors are also considered. In addition to salary and a generous employee benefits package, successful candidates are eligible to receive a discretionary bonus.
