What You Can Expect In This RoleUnder general guidance, the engineer will be responsible for all routine tasks required to maintain and support Open Systems infrastructure including servers, storage, printing, cloud, authentication, backup and other Infrastructure services.
What You'll Do In This Role• Diagnose and resolve system and user problems. Provide expert technical assistance to quickly resolve incidents and requests. Promote and maintain exemplary customer service experience to everyone.
• Develop and maintain scripts to automate systems and manage our infrastructure.
• Be responsible for analysis, recommendation of upgrades, design, changes, implementation and maintenance of software and associated hardware. Develop and maintain Infrastructure documentation for design, planning, training and troubleshooting.
• Implement, maintain, administer, support and monitor both on premise and cloud-based data center solutions, including authentication, compute, storage, monitoring, security, and Infrastructure applications and services.
• Support IT solution projects by deploying, configuring and maintaining secure, highly available on premise and cloud infrastructure using Infrastructure as Code.
• Work closely with security to provide domain expertise for implementation and enhancement of protective controls for our Open Systems environment including compute, storage, monitoring, security, authentication and other Infrastructure applications and services.
• Perform daily operational tasks and system reviews for audit controls and to ensure proper execution of scheduled tasks.
• Build and configure new servers and devices leveraging automation solutions like Terraform or scripts in both on premise and cloud infrastructure environments.
• Develop professionally through education, certification and mentorship programs. Stay current on emerging Infrastructure technology to bring innovation and value to the organization.
• Will operate as a representative of Infrastructure and IT Engineering with respect to infrastructure needs and impact on Application Development projects and Business Initiatives as needed.
• Participate in a 24x7 weekly on-call rotation.

What We're Looking For- Associate's Degree in Technology, Information Systems or equivalent training or experience Preferred
- Minimum 3 years' of Infrastructure Engineering experience Preferred
- Familiar with all of the following technology areas, with demonstratred ability to perform basic administration tasks in each, as well as demonstrated subject matter expertise in at least 2 of these areas: Windows Server operating system, Linux server operating system, VMware, Citrix, Storage Systems (such as NetApp and Pure), email and collaboration software such as Teams or Skype, print services, Active Directory Domain Services, security, monitoring/observability, and multifactor authentication services
- Knowledge and experience with scripting (Powershell, Python, Azure CLI) and automation tools (Puppet, Terraform)
- Knowledge of deploying and supporting Office 365, Azure AD, AWS, and Azure environments
- Knowledge of Data and File Archiving, Backup and Disaster Recovery Services
- Demonstrated ability to deliver on project and task commitments
- Willingness to work on a geographically-dispersed team
- Exhibit good interpersonal skills, oral communication and organizational skills
- Possess strong analytical ability and problem solving skills

Salary Range InformationUSD $61,622.00 - USD $115,540.00 /Yr. Range includes data points from multiple labor markets. Specific range is dependent on the labor market where the incumbent will be hired to perform the position. Starting salary is dependent on candidate qualifications and experience.
