Role: Infrastructure Engineer
Location: Phoenix AZ
TIMS Automation team is part of the Core Infrastructure Engineering organization. This team delivers automated provisioning, management, and monitoring solutions at scale, and works closely with teams both inside and outside our organization to ensure our solutions meet the evolving needs of all stakeholders.
Here how you all be making a difference every day: Be a part of a team of engineers in delivering monitoring and observability solutions to multiple data centers worldwide Staying abreast of industry developments in monitoring, observability, and development technologies and best practices. Working with your leader and team to identify and exploit emerging technologies Takes accountability for the success of the team achieving their goals.
Minimum Qualifications:
• Up to 4+ years proven experience with monitoring solutions: Thanos/Prometheus, Icinga Scripting experience (Bash, Python).
• Experience with React, Angular, or NodeJS
• Experience with GIT, GitLab, or GitHub
• Familiar with CI/CD concepts and best practices
• Hands-on experience as a Unix/Linux Engineer and/or Administrator
• Excellent understanding of Infrastructure, Virtualization, Containers, Network, Storage, monitoring tools, Logging analytic tools, Firewalls & Security policies.
• Good knowledge on Containerization (Docker), Kubernetes, Elastic Stack, Kafka, NGINX, Redis.
• Hands-on experience with DevOps related practices such as CI/CD, Git
• Experience supporting a 24 x 7 with on-call responsibilities for production support
• Self-motivated with strong development skills and the ability to learn new technologies
