Full Job Description
THE WORK:

  • You'll contribute to developing annual budgets and strategic objectives.
  • You'll lead business development teams and collaborate with leaders of other business units, regions or functions in the identification and pursuit of new opportunities. Your exercise your industry knowledge and technical expertise, reviewing and contributing to proposals, whitepapers, or other material.
  • You'll develop a wide industry network of contacts to keep informed about current and future industry and market actions.
  • You'll select and develop senior leaders assigning accountabilities, setting objectives, and establishing priorities. You'll build and maintain desired corporate cultural outcomes consistent with positive engagement outcomes and psychological safety. You'll perform annual and periodic review of assigned senior leaders including incentive compensation and salary adjustments within annual budget parameters.
  • You'll lead business development teams and collaborates with leaders of other business units, regions and functions.
  • You'll monitor existing client relationships to ensure engagement objectives and delivery of services are being met, and identifies opportunities for improvement to ultimately position the firm for repeat work or new work.
  • You'll maintain relationships with large clients and conducts regular outreach to large clients. Evaluates all contracts and backlog for risk exposure and develop and execute mitigation strategy.
  • You'll develop and maintain a strong industry network. Participates actively in industry and civic organizations to promote corporate citizenship.
  • You'll serve as a subject matter expert nurturing current client relationships and building new relationships.
  • You'll contribute thought leadership both internally and in public-facing social media, conferences or other events/locations whether in-person or virtual. You may have the opportunity to receive brand support, building your brand on social media as a technical expert, contributing to Accenture's overall brand.
  • You'll serve as a subject matter expert in various internal and client-facing meetings to provide industry insight and guidance including solutions for our client's toughest challenges.
  • You'll spend part of your time in project execution overseeing project teams to ensure successful delivery. You will be responsible for overseeing and advising on all aspects of one or more client's capital projects, from concept and initiation through project completion and handover including post-handover upgrades and retrofits.
  • You'll oversee one or more programs/projects and collaborate with internal teams and client stakeholders to ensure that project construction activities align with owner/client's project goals, budget, and timeline.
  • You'll work closely with Architects, Engineers, and General Contractors (GC) to achieve project goals.
  • You'll assist in identification of risks in the construction/commissioning process and development of risk mitigation plans to minimize project disruptions.
  • You'll foster effective communication and collaboration among project teams, subcontractors, vendors, and clients to ensure seamless project execution.
  • You'll work with an amazing network of professional, intelligent, high EQ group of people who will value your unique skills and experience and actively seek out your input. Not only will you engage in interesting and thought-provoking intellectual challenges, you will have fun a long the way and not get bogged down with office politics. You will be asked to work independently to grow our data center capital projects work and be supported by your internal network of leaders. Some travel will be required, as you will be able to work remotely but travel to meet a client or oversee a project.
  • Remote: This role allows for remote work for the majority of your work hours.

HERE'S WHAT YOU'LL NEED:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Quantity Surveying
  • 10+ years professional experience progressing in quantity surveying or cost management
  • 5+ years experience in the data center industry
  • 3+ years experience with Hyperscale (>30MW) Data Centers
  • 8+ years of demonstrated functional knowledge of contracts, drawings, estimates, and specifications to ensure compliance with construction/project requirements

$240,000 - $290,000 a year

Compensation at Accenture varies depending on a wide array of factors, which may include but are not limited to the specific office location, role, skill set, and level of experience. As required by local law, Accenture provides a reasonable range of compensation for roles that may be hired in Illinois, Maine, Minnesota, California, Colorado, District of Columbia, Maryland, Massachusetts, New York, New Jersey, Ohio, Virginia or Washington as set forth below.
