(Internal Title: Estimation V)
Analyze invitation-to-bid (ITB) documents, including construction drawings, specifications, and scope of work documents to determine the electrical requirements for data center and other complex projects.
Perform detailed quantity take-offs (QTOs) using digital take-off software (e.g., Bluebeam, Accubid, LiveCount).
Prepare accurate cost estimates for materials, labor, equipment, subcontractors, and other direct costs.
Solicit, analyze, and level vendor and subcontractor quotes to ensure completeness and competitiveness.
Develop detailed basis of estimate (BOE) documentation, outlining assumptions, inclusions, exclusions, and clarifications.
Collaborate with the operations and pre-construction team to develop value-engineering ideas and constructability reviews.
Participate in pre-bid and post-bid meetings (virtually) with clients, engineers, and general contractors.
Utilize estimating software (e.g., Accubid, ConEst, McCormick) to build and format professional proposals.
Maintain current knowledge of electrical codes, industry standards, material pricing, and labor rates.
Manage multiple estimates simultaneously while adhering to strict deadline
Review and comment on foreign cost estimates to ensure accuracy, comprehensiveness and consistency with the E&C Branch estimating guidelines and procedures.
Maintain files and records of work
Working Conditions
Remote, with some occasional travel to the U.S.

HERE'S WHAT YOU'LL NEED:
Minimum of 14 years of experience in in a large engineering and general contracting and cost consultant firm specializing in large multi-faceted projects.
Minimum of 5+ years of experience as an Electrical Estimator in the construction industry.
Direct experience with Data Center projects is required.
Proven experience estimating large-scale commercial or industrial electrical projects.
Proficiency with electrical estimating software (e.g., Accubid, ConEst) and digital take-off tools (e.g., Bluebeam Revu).
BONUS POINTS IF YOU HAVE:
In-depth knowledge of electrical systems, including but not limited to: primary and secondary power distribution, emergency/back-up power systems (generators, UPS, ATS), branch power, lighting, fire alarm, and grounding
Exceptional analytical, mathematical, and organizational skills with a keen attention to detail
Ability to read and interpret construction drawings, specifications, and RFPs independently
Expert capability to understand current industry and technical developments, bond and insurance terminology and pricing, currency exchange impacts, and hedging arrangements
Advanced skills in Microsoft Office
Proficient in general Estimating systems (CostX, HCSS, etc.)
Must maintain professional development to keep abreast of emerging technologies, methods, and best practices
Ability to arrange priorities and escalate competing risks to meet deadlines with minimum input from leadership
Keen eye for detail and adept problem-solving abilities
Must have demonstrated experience relaying and receiving information (written and verbal)
Expert ability to work collaboratively and independently in a structured, disciplined, technology-driven environment
Proven capacity to anticipate, identify, and minimize risks
Expert ability to detect, capitalize, and be sensitive to others' strengths

Compensation at Accenture varies depending on a wide array of factors, which may include but are not limited to the specific office location, role, skill set, and level of experience. As required by local law, Accenture provides a reasonable range of compensation, based on full-time employment, for roles that may be hired as set forth below.

The base pay range shown below is intended as a guideline to reflect the majority of offers for this role. It does not represent a maximum limit - in some cases, actual compensation may exceed the range where appropriate.
