(Internal Title: Estimation V)
Develop and maintain standardized cost reporting frameworks and estimation tools.
Review and validate project scope, estimates, and pricing submissions against demarcation matrices and WBS categories.
Analyze Developers' construction costs using benchmarks, parametric data, and market intelligence.
Track design changes across estimate revisions, reporting cost and schedule impacts.
Identify and integrate Value Engineering (VE) options to optimize project costs.
Document all assumptions, exclusions, and deviations from Developer, A/E, GC, or Client estimates.
Collaborate with procurement, commodity, and sourcing teams to ensure estimates reflect current market conditions'
Provide ROM and construction-level estimates to support CAPEX planning, forecasting, and phasing.
Interface with Client stakeholders and internal teams to align on estimates, program costs, and delivery
Assess cost risks and support development of mitigation strategies
Collaborate with project managers, engineers, procurement teams, and construction staff to ensure estimate accuracy
Maintain organized estimate documentation, assumptions, and cost breakdowns
Working Conditions
Remote, with some occasional travel to the U.S.

HERE'S WHAT YOU'LL NEED:
Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Construction Management, Engineering, or a related field
Minimum of 14 years of experience in in a large engineering and general contracting and cost consultant firm specializing in large multi-faceted projects.
Minimum of 3-4 years of cost management or estimating experience for Civil Projects
Data Center construction experience required.
Strong proficiency in Google Suite (especially Google Sheets) or Microsoft Excel.
Highly organized and detail-oriented
BONUS POINTS IF YOU HAVE:
Experience with large-scale infrastructure, industrial, data center, or commercial projects
Knowledge of AACE estimating classifications (Class 1-5 estimates)
Proficiency in CostX or similar tools
Familiarity with contract types, bid strategies, and procurement processes
Field construction experience in mechanical trades
Professional certifications (e.g., CCP, CEP, PQS) are a plus
Strong understanding of HVAC, plumbing, piping, and mechanical construction methods
Ability to read and interpret mechanical drawings, specifications, and schedules
Proficiency in Excel and estimating software (e.g., RSMeans, CostX, Sage, or similar tools)
Strong analytical, numerical, and attention-to-detail skills
Exceptional analytical, mathematical, and organizational skills with a keen attention to detail
Ability to read and interpret construction drawings, specifications, and RFPs independently
Expert capability to understand current industry and technical developments, bond and insurance terminology and pricing, currency exchange impacts, and hedging arrangements
Advanced skills in Microsoft Office
Must maintain professional development to keep abreast of emerging technologies, methods, and best practices
Ability to arrange priorities and escalate competing risks to meet deadlines with minimum input from leadership
Keen eye for detail and adept problem-solving abilities
Must have demonstrated experience relaying and receiving information (written and verbal)

Compensation at Accenture varies depending on a wide array of factors, which may include but are not limited to the specific office location, role, skill set, and level of experience. As required by local law, Accenture provides a reasonable range of compensation, based on full-time employment, for roles that may be hired as set forth below.

Ontario $150,000 to $230,000
