  • The Project Controls & Digitalization Specialist will support a major railway project through the delivery and integration of Project Controls processes, systems, reporting, and digital solutions. The role requires strong knowledge of planning and scheduling, cost control, risk management, reporting, and the use of digital tools to support data-driven project delivery.
  • Perform peer and project reviews, including cost estimate validation and peer reviews.
  • Provide expertise in setting up Planning & Scheduling processes and templates on major projects, including schedule analysis and project re-baselines.
  • Provide expertise in setting up Cost Control processes and templates, including cost impact analysis to support project re-baselines.
  • Perform project risk management activities, including integrated cost and schedule quantitative risk analysis.
  • Support Project Delivery's integrated digitalization strategy to enable data-driven decision-making.
  • Support the implementation and integration of Project Management Information Systems, Power BI, Primavera P6, Acumen Risk, and other project systems.
  • Deliver integrated project management functionalities with a focus on contract, cost, schedule, risk management, and BI reporting.
  • Support consolidated reporting, analytics, dashboards, and automated project reporting.
  • Support system configuration, reporting, data migration, integration, and automation activities.
  • Provide expertise in developing the project Information Management strategy and support document management activities throughout the project life cycle.
  • Develop current-state assessments, gap analyses, recommendations, tools and templates, and future-state roadmaps.
  • Ensure project controls and digital deliverables meet established quality, schedule, and project requirements.
  • Work with project stakeholders and technical teams to identify requirements, risks, improvement opportunities, and appropriate solutions.

  • HERE'S WHAT YOU'LL NEED:

    • Experience:
      • Minimum of 10 years of experience in PMIS Application or Configuration.
      • Minimum of 10 years of experience in Project Management and Business System Development supporting EPC projects or management portfolios.
      • Strong knowledge of Project Controls within major capital, infrastructure, transportation, or railway projects.
      • Experience with planning and scheduling, cost control, risk management, change control, and project reporting.
      • Experience using Primavera P6 and Power BI for project controls, scheduling, reporting, and performance analysis.
      • Experience with Project Management Information Systems and digitalization initiatives.
      • Knowledge of tools such as EcoSys, Oracle Primavera Unifier, Acumen Risk, Oracle EBS, MS Project, or similar systems is an asset.
      • Experience developing dashboards, project performance reports, schedule/cost analysis, and automated reporting.
      • Strong stakeholder coordination and communication skills.
      • Railway or major transportation infrastructure experience is considered an asset.
    • Education:
      • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Project Management, Software Engineering, Business Analyst or equivalent

    • Proven experience managing multiple concurrent system implementation and integration projects
    • Extensive knowledge of Project Costing, Scheduling, Earned Value Performance Metrics, and Construction or Contract Administration
