Information Technology - Embedded S/W Engineer | Orlando, Florida, United States Job Summary: Embedded Software Engineer - Lockheed Martin Missiles & Fire Control
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and implement real-time embedded software solutions for advanced defense systems
- Conduct requirements analysis, code development, integration, and formal qualification testing
- Collaborate with cross-functional engineering teams to deliver robust and reliable software
- Test and troubleshoot embedded software, ensuring high quality and system performance
- Document software designs and technical processes for long-term maintainability
Required Skills and Experience
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or Electrical Engineering (accredited institution)
- Minimum 6 years of real-time embedded software development experience
- Proficient in C++ (version 11 or newer) for embedded systems
- On-site availability in Orlando, FL; 4/10A first-shift schedule
Preferred Skills
- Multi-threading, multi-core, and multi-processing development expertise
- Embedded software and hardware integration and test experience
- Experience collaborating on multi-disciplinary engineering teams
- Proficiency with GitLab CI/CD pipelines
- Familiarity with GoogleTest or similar unit test tools
