Full Job Description
The Multi-Disciplinary Engineer supports the Missile Defense Agency (MDA) on the Integrated Research and Development

for Enterprise Solutions (IRES) contract. The candidate will:

Expertise and Functions

  • Deploy, configure, and support customer laptop and desktop computer systems.
  • Provide on-site and remote troubleshooting support for customer equipment and fix issues as required.
  • Provide on-site customer support for mission and/or test events.
  • Deploy, configure, and troubleshoot mobile devices (Phones, tablets and others).
  • Provide technical support for enterprise networking and infrastructure projects.
  • Resolve daily organizational assigned tasks.
  • Track all work using the Remedy ticketing system.
  • Provide enterprise printer support.
  • Deploy, configure, and troubleshoot software applications.
  • Provide COMSEC support to deployed COMSEC equipment and function as the local COMSEC Hand-Receipt Holder re-keying of equipment and general support.
  • Provide IPTV and VTC (Video Teleconferencing) support as required.
  • Provided network, server and infrastructure support.
  • Provide remote support to other team members within the branch.
  • Provide rotation of on-call support for after-hours and weekend situations
  • Travel to and support remote locations during MDA exercises, occasionally for extended durations (30-90 days).
  • Provide VOIP support as needed by the mission and site requirements
  • Tele-work is available for brief periods, but on-site support is required for all mission and test events.
  • Job Related Travel will also be required. Approximately 10% of the average year.
  • Will require off-hours and weekend on-site support during mission/test events.
  • Perform as the Trusted Agent for the site.
  • Provide escort services for contractors and event visitors, as required by the site director.
  • Other duties as assigned

Requirements

Qualifications

Education/Training (both required and desired):
  • Bachelor's Degree in relevant discipline preferred
  • Associates Degree in relevant discipline desired
  • High school diploma acceptable with additional years of experience


  • Must have a DoD 8570.01 IAT Level II Certification (CompTIA Security+ CE Certification or higher)
  • ITILv3 Foundations certification preferred
  • CompTIA Network+ certification preferred
  • Cisco CCNA certification preferred
  • CISSP certification preferred
  • Microsoft certification preferred


Experience:
  • Must have at least 6 years of direct experience in providing IT solutions
  • Experience working in a customer-facing support role


Security:
  • Must be a US citizen
  • Active DoD issued Secret Security Clearance required
  • Active Top/Secret SCI Clearance preferred

Salary: $97,000 - $122,000
