Qualifications

• B.S. in Information Technology or related field required.
• 7+ years of hands-on experience in Information Assurance C&A is essential.
• Background in supporting federal government information systems as an ISSO.
• Knowledge of ISO, NIST, and US Government cybersecurity frameworks is necessary.
• Experience with ITS Publication 1075 for safeguarding Federal Tax Information is a key requirement.
• Active CISSP certification is mandatory.
• Must hold an active Top Secret clearance.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical support for vulnerability and risk assessments, network security, and remediation.
• Design and implement solutions to ensure the protection of sensitive information.
• Identify, investigate, and remediate cyber and insider threats proactively.
• Evaluate Civil Division systems to recommend security improvements.
• Develop information system contingency plans that uphold security and minimize operational disruptions.
• Assess current cybersecurity levels and train personnel on cybersecurity protocols.
• Evaluate and recommend security products and technologies to enhance system security posture.
• Conduct audits and testing to measure the effectiveness of existing security measures.
