Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree with 5+ years of experience in information security.
• In-scope security background investigation (T5 or SSBI) completed for SCI eligibility.
• Willingness to be nominated for Sensitive Compartmented Information and Special Access Programs, including consent to Polygraph examination.
• DoD 8140 certification (e.g., Security+, CISSP, or equivalent) required.
• Strong experience in documentation processes relevant to information security.
• Experience in managing air-gapped or high-security information systems.
• Solid understanding of system hardening and compliance frameworks.

Responsibilities

• Maintain operational security posture for information systems and programs.
• Act as the information security interface with government customers and Accrediting Authorities.
• Assist in tracking customer security authorization activities.
• Conduct vulnerability and risk assessments for system accreditation.
• Prepare and review key security documentation including Security Plans and Risk Assessments.
• Conduct regular reviews of information security policies and procedures.
• Support inspections, tests, and reviews related to information security.
• Process compliance requests for hardware and software, ensuring security measures are met.
